CTC LEAF :

12,476 PACKAGES OF LEAF AND 2,219 PACKAGES OF DUST WERE ADVERTISED FOR SALE . WITHDRAWALS STOOD AT 12% AS AGAINST 19% LAST SALE.

CTC DUST :

Dust varieties on offer met with a better demand at mostly dearer rates.Good liquoring varieties met with good competition and were dearer by upto Tk.5/- and sometimes more . Others were fully firm to occasionally dearer.

BROKENS :

Well made good liquoring Brokens were the strongest feature of the sale and appreciated by Tk. 5/- to Tk.10/-. These were sold between Tk.290/- and Tk.295/-. All others were also a good market and were dearer.

FANNINGS :

Good liquoring Fannings were also a good market and were mostly firm. The best could be quoted between Tk.285/- and Tk.290/- the good between Tk.277/- and Tk 282/-. Others were a fair market with some withdrawals particularly towards the close.

COMMENTS :

There was a good demand this week and prices for all good liquoring sorts appreciated. Loose tea buyers were fairly active.
